Pronounced [KUH-DOO-SEE-STASH], the Caducestache was created as a more masculine or rugged side of nursing. We at Murse Life were tired of all the same ole symbols for nursing and wanted something that can be worn by anyone, not just nurses!  The original caduceus is said to be a depiction of the staff that Hermes carried, according to Greek mythology. In Roman texts, you will often see it held by Mercury, the messenger to the gods.
